Our structure
Our functioning,
our missions and skills

Cobaty is a unique, solid and mature organization. The statutes of Cobaty indicate very clearly who the Cobatystes are and how the Federation of Associations works.

Cobaty operation: everything starts from the base.

Each Cobatyste is part of an Association, true heart and lung of Cobaty. While respecting federal ethics and rules, it has a great deal of autonomy. Immersed in local realities, she is very listened to by decision-makers. The Associations are grouped in 11 Districts. The “District” is the relay, the transmission belt between the Associations and the Federation. The Bureau and the Federal Board of Directors (FCA) serve the Associations. Elected for two years, renewable once, they help them, accompany them, support them chart great directions to give meaning to the whole. The Federation is also the showcase of Cobaty at the highest levels.

Being Cobatyste, a very specific profile.

Decision-maker in its activity, the Cobatyste is a natural person with professional responsibility. He practices one of the professions of the act of building, urban planning and the environment or associated professions (bankers, notaries, lawyers, energy companies, insurers, etc.). Woman or Man, the Cobatyste has strong moral qualities, a sense of duty, contact and human relationships. He adheres to cobatyst ethics. The Cobatyste accepts the rules of the Association of which it is a member. he is up to date with his contributions. Within the framework of his Association, the Cobatyste cannot have political, ideological, trade union, corporatist or confessional activities. The Cobatyste cannot use his membership in Cobaty for commercial purposes. The Cobatyste brings his personality and expertise to his Association and is committed to participating in internal or external events, meetings, working groups… The Cobatyste attends the monthly statutory meetings and the Annual Congress of the Cobaty Federation.

Each cobatyste Association is obliged to have at least one monthly meeting. This is the so-called «statutory» meeting

The federal authorities support or organize symposia and seminars to reflect together on topics of common interest.

OUR STRUCTURE

In 2023, the Federation of Associations has 11 Districts in 8 countries, 134 Associations and more than 4600 members.

The structure of Cobaty, the head of its decentralization, with more than a hundred Associations gathered in Districts, allows its leaders to be anchored in the local economic and social fabric, while being in direct contact with regional realities, national and international. Local associations benefit from the reflections carried out at national level through commissions dealing with the major themes of our society. Bringing together, reflecting, exchanging, developing, animating, opening up new ways is the creative capacity of this set of skills, whose dynamism is commensurate with the commitment of its members. Cobaty wants to bring to institutions, women and men who manage our daily lives and our future, the synergy of its experiences and skills, integrating the human, social, cultural, economic and technical aspect.
